Charron
Charron is a world on the cusp of a new age. Centuries ago, might and magic ruled the land. Powerful wizards and sorcerers battled for supremacy with mighty warriors and exalted paladins. But in the years since, something happened. The gods stopped speaking to their disciples. Magic faded from the lands. Within decades, the social order had been completely upturned, but things gradually settled into a sort of equilibrium. People moved on. They began coping with their loss by inventing new technologies to replace the abilities they had lost. It is now an era of progress and development.
But there are still some who long for the days of yore, and will do anything to find out what happened - and where the magic went.
