Session 1: New Arrivals Report

General Summary

The colonist from the old world arrived to Scylla by Lake Ohon docking at Castiel's Landing . Once they unboared the ship they meet up with David Boatwright and learned what the could before heading to the longhouse where they meet Hiar 'Ol' Chesapeake' Flemming . Much was talked about as they learned about the lands of Scylla and buying a unfinished map of the area. They spent the rest of the day consuming ale that one of the group brought with them to celebrate the trips end.
By the dawn of the 2nd day, they began looking for a place to homestead before they ran out of time at the longhouse. Deciding that the trip along the river and around Lake Ohon was the best choice they set out to explore. After finding a place that looked like a good choice near the end of the river and the shores of Lake Ohon they marked the location and traveled further to the east along the shore. By nightfall they took up camp just within the Forest of Crows. During the night the group was attacked by one of the largest spiders they have ever seen before, luckily for them, they save each other and scared off the great beast in the canopy.
Once day broke the party followed the shores once more before finding an old ruined dock. After investigation, they found the keystone for a larger building nearby and began to dig out the area seeking answers. They found many sealed jars and a chest found in the keystone itself. Once magic was found coming from the chest, they broke the wax seal on it and opened it to find that it magically played a child's melody and contained the small bones of a humanoid and a femur of an adult. The party was unsure of what to do with this and with nightfall they didn't know if staying there was a good idea.
