Session 3: Eternal Hunger of the Shallows Report
General Summary
When the party had finished exploring the White Gold Hot Springs they began to investigate the shore and huts surrounding it. Geoff Whalerman got closer to the water's edge when out of the water an undead grung leaped out at him. After a quick battle, his life was saved and all was thought to be good until the water spawned more of the undead.
By the final blow to the ghoul, the group had gathered around the spring wondering what else might be within the deep waters. With a sudden crash of water on the shores several more grung ghouls appeared as they jumped to the ground near the members of the party. A hurried battle ensued, and many weapons clashed with the flesh of the undead. With thunderous blasts and magical forces crashing into the enemy, the group was saved from a faith worse than death.
Once the group had gathered themselves they began a trip westward toward Castiel's Landing in a hope to cross the Forest of Crows quickly. Before even noon had gone by they arrived at Troll Sage Camp. After visit and meeting with Sage of Underknoll they continued to head west.
During the first night of rest, they found themselves under attack once again by the giant spiders known to live in the western part of Forest of Crows . Great efforts were made to defend the camp and many of the spiders fell to guns and blades. They could only hope that once they were out of the forest that none had followed them home.
