Session 4: All roads lead to ... Report

General Summary

Once the party arrived at Castiel's Landing the group reported to Hiar 'Ol' Chesapeake' Flemming about the findings in the Forest of Crows and White Gold Hot Springs. The information was recorded and updated on the map so all may learn of what is outside the walls of the settlement. 
    The party knowing they didn't have much time left, began to research with Hiar 'Ol' Chesapeake' Flemming and busied themselves for two weeks. Once the group was done and had recruited seven people from the settlement to join them, they made the return trip to the springs.
    Luckily due to the large size of the caravan heading to the hot springs they encountered no resistance on the way. It was learned that one of the new members of the group was a rather inquisitive but powerful warlock. He was asked to join them on the next leg of the expedition in Scylla. After settling with the new settlers at the springs they sought to explore once again. With a quick scout, they advanced to the northeast cutting a new path as they traveled.
    As they arrived at a clearing, they spotted the remains of a cobblestone roadway heading southeast and northwest. Knowing that the sea lied to the southeast they made their way to the northeastern part of the road. After a long trek, they came to a forerunner city gate and walls. Much of the ruins of the walls and gatehouse were scattered around the roadway. It was discovered that the stone was at one point magically made as no seam was found. The group was road weary and made camp near the walls as they eyed beyond the gate into what might be the ruins of buildings.
