The Merchant Ship Taihō-maru

The Taihō-maru was crewed by thirty men, including a captain and navigator. Its masts were covered with sails of differing sizes to account for varying winds, and the deck was large enough to store over two hundred tons of cargo. The ship was designed for long journeys across open seas, but its sturdy build also made it suitable for navigating through shallow waters as well. It had several compartments in its hold that could be used to store food and other supplies during voyages. In addition, the Taihō-maru boasted an array of weapons such as cannons and muskets which could be used in defense against pirates or rival ships should the need arise.   Throughout its travels across the seas of Charybdis, the Taihō-maru often encountered storms and hostile forces. But its crew remained determined to complete their mission of safely delivering cargo from the Shogunate to the Northern Star Empire. Over time, the Taihō-maru acquired a reputation for being a reliable vessel that could brave any weather conditions or dangers posed by Charybdis’s unpredictable waters.   Thanks to its loyal crew and sturdy build, the Merchant Ship Taihō-maru was able to make numerous successful trips between North Castle in the Shogunate and Phrourion in the Northern Star Empire, eventually becoming an integral part of trade between these two powerful nations.
