Amos Energy Newsletter #78

By Kenneth Atkinson on D24/M15/Y22

In our most recent edition of NeFTLuN (Nearside-Farside Total Lunar Newsletter) we introduced the HeR-94 mechanized personnel suit. This newest version of Amos Energy's bipedal "cut suit" is unique, as it integrates a suite of smart systems with safety features to reduce the burden faced by new operators. Acknowledging that labor has been essential to reach the point where they are today, Amos Energy has progressed as an He3 mining company and an energy bunkering network at remarkable speed. Amos's CEO Andrea Rismon voiced her hopes for the new suit's prospects to increase worker marginal productivity, profits, and wages.

"The fundamental problems of helium-3 mining cannot be solved by automation alone. We need cutters in suits out on the ice keeping the rigs safe. A lack of skilled labor has been constant thorn in our side since our founding. The HeR-94 will help to solve that problem. Any human who shows up to the reception desk with pulse, and is not obvious alcoholic, can get a job as a cutter. The new cut suit is that easy to operate. Our projections show, conservatively, 2.2 to 2.5 percent growth over the next two sekorayears with the access to new labor this suit will provide."

The HeR-94 is currently undergoing field testing by veteran operators at the Turk Basin Rig. Rollout to all rigs will be completed by year-end. Amos Energy plans to start offering the suit other industries and sectors first quarter of HE23.
