North Lincoln Square

Neighborhood in Chicago's North Side District

North Lincoln comprises of several neighborhoods located on the northern side of Chicago, where Lincoln Avenue meanders and reminisces about the treasures and curiosities of Chicago's past century before moving on and forgetting them all over again. Even though Lincoln Square, Albany Park, and North Park are more familiar to locals than tourists, everyone is welcome in this area that is as comfortable as a Sunday morning in Chicago, all week long, as Lionel Richie might say.

The shopping in North Lincoln is unquestionably cool and unpretentious, making it a top reason to visit. The restaurants here are also highly regarded by serious Chicago food enthusiasts, and are considered some of the best in the city..

In the Lincoln Ssquare the streets bustle with activity during the day, as people go about their business, shopping, and dining in the many restaurants and bars that line the streets. There is always a buzz in the air, a feeling of energy that is palpable, and that attracts the attention of any vampire looking to feed or hunt.

While there is a sense of community in Lincoln Square, it is not as strong as in other neighborhoods. The residents are a mix of different backgrounds, and while they may interact with each other in the course of their daily lives, they are not necessarily close friends. This makes it easier for a vampire to move unnoticed through the area, but it also means that they may not be able to rely on the community to protect them in case of danger.

While Lincoln Square has its share of historical landmarks and attractions, such as the Davis Theater and the Krause Music Store, it is not a major destination for tourists. The area is more of a hidden gem, known mainly to locals and those in the know. This makes it a good place for a vampire to lay low and avoid drawing attention to themselves, but it also means that they may not have access to the same level of resources and opportunities that they would in a more high-profile location.
