Rail Travel

Getting There

• Many Vampires prefer to travel by rail as the system is so completely controlled by Kindred
• Air travel still makes older Kindred uneasy, and sea travel is too slow, but trains are safe and fairly fast
• Kindred can often ride in a specially designed caboose, but a private room in the first-class coach can suffice or, in a pinch, a sealed coffin in the baggage car

Getting Around

• Chicago's system of elevated trains and subways is highly developed
• Lines cover everything from the city centre right out into the outer suburbs
• Fares cost $6-$15 on average
