Janice Cole
If we're going to blow it up later, why not just do it now?
Few scandals rocked the Cook County States Attorney's office as much as the dismissal of star prosecutor, Janice Cole. Other lawyers and staff shared the somewhat bizarre behavior of Assistant States Attorney Cole: setting small fires in her office, insisting the company of her dog at all times, unexpected absences. These issues culminated when ASA Cole attacked a judge while passing her in the hallway. Witnesses report the lawyer spewed a stream of supernatural nonsense before guards could restrain her. The office refused to press charges, preferring to relieve Janice of future responsibilities.
Miraculously avoiding disbarment, Janice currently works as a defense attorney and serves all those she believes innocent. Rumors circulate she accepts payment in cash, barter, or services to be rendered later.
