Blue Sight

The Blue Sight is a gift bestowed only once a lifetime upon a receptive Seer. While not generally considered one of the Foundations of Magical Forces, the power behind the Blue Sight grants a Seer the ability to see non-contextual assured events. Oftentimes it can manifest as listening in on snippets of a conversation, or seeing the death of a person. At no time has a vision of the Blue Sight not come to pass, but the contact behind the vision is often misjudged, or poorly understood.
The ability itself has only ever existed in one living being at a time on Eiden. When a Seer passes away, the Blue Sight is then conferred on a new host, which can sometimes take years to discover.
A Seer that has been discovered to be the bearer of the Blue Sight is brought under the care of the High Magus Council, and is traditionally housed within the Seer's Tower at Arronay in Halen.
An unfortunate side effect of the Blue Sight is that over time, the Seer tends toward madness. They often die via suicide or outright losing the will to live.
