Human
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humans are endowed with a set of two arms, two legs and a head attached to a torso much like the species they descend from Progenitor Homo Sapiens. They have fine hair across their entire body with thicker coarser hair on their head, underarms and loins. Skeletal and muscular structures are built moderately and adapted for bipedal locomotion.
Genetics and Reproduction
Human reproduction works similarly to the species they descend from and the other species of the planet. Humans reproduce by internal sexual fertilization and have an internal gestation method over a period of 9 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
A Human grows to full maturity by age 20; traversing the Infant, Toddler, Child, Adolescent, Young Adult and Adult stages of their lives. These stages are only differentiated by the physical and mental development of the Human; meaning a 30 year old Human can still be in their Young Adult stage even though they are physically mature.
Ecology and Habitats
Humans are biologically adapted to live in most, non-severely hostile, environments with a high degree of success. Most locations that Humans inhabit are quickly adapted to their requirements: extracting any and all useful resources, changing the environment to better suit them and exterminating or domesticating all local wildlife.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Humans are omnivorous creatures able to eat most plant and animal matter. Humans farm and ranch their food sources almost exclusively; creating large stores of food to slowly utilize as needed.
