Banded Lemurs
Banded lemurs are furry primate-like mammals with black, wet noses, circular brown eyes, and long, fluffy tails. Their markings resemble the M-pattern markings of a cat with thick bands of brown or black and white on the tail. Their thin, dexterous hands look a little small for their body size.
Banded lemurs eat dwarf mole crickets, other insects, leaves, flowers, fruit, nectar, and bark. Banded lemurs stay in the trees to avoid large predators.
