Cursed by interplanar planets, Humanity clings.

Some of the astronomers believe we've been cut off from our orbit, that we teleport to different star systems on a regular basis, that it was us who left our moon and not the moon who left us.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humans tend to have zero to two eyes with which they see out of, sometimes in full color and sometimes in distorted colors. They stand on one to two legs, occasionally zero, some have noses where others may have ears that detect a disappointingly limited range of sounds. Their height tends to be 2-10 feet tall and their weight from 50-500 pounds. Their skeletal structure is often bipedal but a surprising number of other members of this species will walk quadrupedally for no discernable reason as of yet.

Ecology and Habitats

The habitat of a human tends to be dangerous for other species looking outside in. The optimal environment of a human would be ideally under a yellow sun all year round with a moon to worship and a weather that doesn't try to kill them for half of the year.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Most humans eat fiberous plants and fruit, sometimes meat if the adventurers bring back any. Most humans will rely on food cultivators and build storage facilities to hold these items for them, as their biological solution for storing food is particularly inefficient at times.

Biological Cycle

The biology of humans is very fragile. In the bright months they can somewhat cope with the environment around them, but on the dark months they require magical shelter for most of the time. During these dark months, humans become lethargic and sleepy within their protection, longing to be outside if only the outside would not try to kill them.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

With enough study and determination, some Humans believe that they can see what other people can't. Others claim that they have magical powers unrecognized by the various Vankas Societies scattered around a scarred planet. In both cases the evidence is inconclusive that humans do not have the same inherent perceptive and sensory capabilities that they've always had, even before the advent of the Rainbow Sun.
