For those who have fallen
Hallrûn
He who ran, when he should've stayed
Hallrûn risked life and limb for a handful of trinkets. Before he could make good on his escape, a dragon arrived to put a halt to his attempted larceny. With a thundering voice that rumbled through the cavern like a storm cloud, the beast warned him to cease his escape, on the pain of death. Perhaps he thought he could make it out in time, or perhaps he did not trust that a dragon could be reasoned with. Regardless of what motivated his decision to keep running, Hallrûn’s rejection of the monstrous drake’s demand was met with a terrible gout of annihilating fire, a conflagration of such unbearable intensity as to turn the elf’s bones to ash before my eyes.
Alkaloid
He who needed a sleeping bag
A fight with two werewolves and a bunch of wolves ensued. After the fight we looked around and we found that poor Alkaloid forgot his bedroll, and tried to sleep under a tree. He got taken out by the wolves, and we never even heard it.
Vasilievsky and Phaedra
They who were linked
After a fight with a colossal construct the party members of Vasilievski saw him Among wrangled pieces of smashed metal, lying in a pool of blood. It was not clear what exactly happend, but we do know that he was separated from the party and payed the ultimate price for it.
But that wasn't all, they later found out that Vasilievski and Pheadra had performed a ritual, linking their lives together. Motivated by their eternal love for each other. So when Vasilievski drew his last breath, so did Phaedra.
Surron
He who could not be helped
Surron caused her armor to start glowing bright red, which seemed to hurt her. That in turn made her angry, and she and those men attacked him ferociously… so much so that none of us were able to get to him, to save him. None of us had a chance to try and save him. That's another one gone. I implore every Adventurer to think hard before they go into a fight. Especially when you reach Gold rank. Things stop being easy.
Svæin
He who did not take things seriously
Every time Svæin came back to consciousness, he was struck down again, and I'd give him another potion, until... until all of a sudden he no longer responded. Svæin, the Goliath had fallen in battle. he hadn't taken the fight too serious and mostly was just having fun until suddenly the tables turned for him... Fool... Svæin... You will be missed. May you fight on in the afterlife and enjoy every moment of it.
Fionna
She who refused to retreat
We could not save Fionna as she was entangled in acidic mucus from the apple demon. We were just barely hanging onto our own lives and could only watch as the acid slowly ate away at her flesh and tore her lower body off. The light of life slowly left her face but that smile on her face never went away. It felt as if she was continuing her fight from the beyond.
Blanche
She who went missing
Where is justice, when the dead are alive yet the living breathe their last breath…
At this point, we were being clawed and slashed at from everywhere at once, and it was then that I realized... Blanche was missing.
It was morning when I awoke, though on which day I wasn’t sure. All alone in a world unfamiliar to me, worried sick about the fate of my fellow guildsmen. Finding familiar landmarks, I managed to reach the Gate and evade several roaming packs of zombies. And as I stumbled into the guild hall, one of my companions was missing…
Khash
He who was one day from retirement
While we were fighting all of those skeletons suddenly little balls of light floated down and started attacking us as well, I was sure we were going to die! Well… as it ended up, not all of us.
We did manage to defeat the skeletons, and the glowing orbs in the end left us alone, but not before taking the life of Khash. I… Again I was unable to protect or save one of my fellow adventurers. In half of my adventures, someone dies, I really… should just give up, stay at home. Let others do the saving and helping.
Manis
He who was out- numbered
I feel delighted that all of the frogs are dead now. I then remember Manis and Ölthwyn and I quickly run back to the place where they got downed. When I get to Manis' body, I find out he has died. My body fills with sadness as I realise he is gone. We quickly loot the frogs and then we get out of that cursed place. The journey back is kind of blurry for me. Filled with sadness over Manis, I can’t focus on my surroundings...
Effie
She who defied a queen
The queen raised her hands and a stream of impossibly hot flames and magma began to sprout from atop the seemingly endless stairs, cascading downwards. As it touched Effie, even her affinity for fire was not enough to protect her from the heat, boiling her from the inside, and burning her skin and hair. In pure anger and with grim determination, Effie ignored the pain and pressed onwards climbing up the stairs, but every step she took required more effort, and yet more until she collapsed, and her eyes closed as the Red Queen cackled maniacally at her own prowess.
Wicky
She who let her guard down
As the cleric breathed life back into the stabilized army leader, the whole scene seemed to play out in slow motion. The knight got back on her feet, murder in her eyes as she closed the distance to Wicky in an instant. The massive sword struck and struck again; the half-orc druid defenseless against such onslaught. The great-sword kept hacking, even after our companion fell unconscious. That, was when my friend Wicky died.
Nallrien
She who dreamt of being a hero
And when the dragon arrived, I knew we had a problem, because this was a real (albeit young) white dragon, a vicious, evil and extremely dangerous creature.
Still, I thought foolishly, if our frontal fighters engage him, and we can shoot at it from a distance, we might have a chance. But no, as the dragon descended from the sky, it breathed its icy breath towards us, catching Nallrien, The Butler and I in one shot. The Butler and I managed to dodge some of the attack, put poor little Nallrien could not, and her tiny body was frozen to death before it even hit the ground.

Atlas
He who stood, when others ran
Atlas and Melidrassil, these amazing heroes, they stayed to fight.
I can not talk about the details, because I could only peek back a couple of times as I was running away, but I saw Atlas hanging there in death’s door as the living embodiment of a fighter, and Melidrassil shooting beams of energy at the dragon. But eventually, they must have fallen, because the noises of fighting had settled, and The Butler and I, fearing for our lives, hid for a night and took a rest.
I want to remember these wonderful heroes Nallrien and Atlas, who deserved so much more from this horrific life.
Jade
She who refused to abandon her friends
The fight was not over. There were wolves, who now acted a lot more like they should, and two of Edwards' companions. Eventually, the wolves got Jade! She got downed! I was right next to her, I wanted to use my magic words, but before I could say anything...
The wolves were too fast, too quick…
One of the wolves bit her right in her neck...
She stopped breathing...
Instead of reviving someone, a loved one passed away. We are sorry.
Aeo’Wynn
The rogue who never got the hang of hiding
Aeo’Wynn tried to hide a couple of times, but failed miserably - once even breaking off almost all branches of the bush he was trying to hide in. It was pretty funny, seeing him trying to hide behind a single leaf.
On our way out of town that next morning, we heard that Devotion had cut her mother, it was her birthday, and she had just turned thirteen. She turned into a hag, and we fought. Aeo’Wynn failed to hide again, and got smacked by the older witch. I tried to get to him and feed him my healing potion, but because that hag was in the way I was too late. He exhaled his last breath just when I got down next to him.
Bato
The friend who saved us
Bato was a friendly guy, known for his great pancakes. I have heard his apple pancakes were quite good, but one day the apple bandits got the best of him. He was the bravest and most sincere man one could meet.
Bato tried to save one of his friends from dying without caring for his own life, when a big zombie struck him down and finished him off. He fought like a brave warrior, and died trying to heal others. He saved an old man’s life on our way to the temple with the bandits, but we could not save his life in return.
Kenzie Mac an Ruaidh
Killed by a Dragon that Should Have Stayed Dead
Kenzie was that girl everyone seems to know. She came here with her siblings, and got engaged to Arthos Pontianath. During her last mission she fought bravely against shades and a kind of undead dragon.. Kenzie had turned Beth into a huge dragon-like creature. The undead dragon did still have its breath weapon though, and while the big Beth managed to survive it, the others fell. At once Beth had to choose who to save with her one healing potion. Arthos was breathing kind of regularly, but both Blaire and Kenzie seemed to be choking on their own blood. Since Blaire was pregnant and there were two lives on the line there, she chose to give her the potion. That did mean that Kenzie did not make it though.
Khanivore
Badder not better!
A mission to make Khanivore better with lots of blood proved to be deadly. Khanivore too died by mama beasty. Her claws gave him his forever sleep, although it is said it was not that forever.
Thorik Qualitysmithsson
With his funny hair
Thorik Qualitysmithsson was a brave Dwarf who loved his ale. Apparently he had funny hair. He fought bravely against little beasties, but the mother beasty proved to be too strong. From what we gleaned from the report, only a bit of his funny hair was found back.
Berar von Dinkelheim
He who challenged a legend
Arena mages rushed to weave their spells of binding, trying desperately to see the adventurers spared. However, the monstrous Osvult was not so easily tamed. Despite the best efforts of arena personnel, the fiend managed one final blow with its massive axe before being restrained. This one last savage strike proved tragically fatal to Berar von Dinkelheim, who had fought so valiantly. Though a newcomer to the arena, the name of Berar von Dinkelheim will not soon be forgotten by the fans.
Sofi
She who jumped through life
And yet, as beacons, these heroes stood. They fought. But even the bravest of heroes cannot avoid everything. I saw her. The girl. Sofi. She was dragged in, poisoned… Unconscious. Then… the whispers. The flesh. it began gnawing. consuming. Devouring, until Sofi was part of the quivering heap of flesh, and only a pair of antlers showed that there was once a person, instead of a gibbering sphere.
I thank whatever god is still out there and listening, that the others managed to halt the progress of this infernal aberration. But for Sofi… to no avail. Maybe, one day… I’ll stop seeing it. I pray that I will.
Mephisto
He who created the smoke
It was going well enough until that tiefling opened that accursed smoke bottle. I could not see anything, nor make full use of my power. Thuds were heard, and the underlings with the powerful strikes did not seem to mind the smoke at all. Bob emerged, slightly glowing with healing magic, lugging the dead bodies of two adventurers and a woman on his broomstick.
Salinx
He who got caught in the smoke
I could not see anything, nor make full use of my power. Neither could Salinx. Thuds were heard, and the underlings with the powerful strikes did not seem to mind the smoke at all. Bob emerged, slightly glowing with healing magic, lugging the dead bodies of two adventurers and a woman on his broomstick.
Alistair Vane
He who changed
The man with the tophat looked scared, but did use magic. They attacked the wounded catman and the man with the tophat. Then the man with the tophat got hit a few times and fell down. He then changed into a monster with human teeth and small tentacles. Before I could say anything, the human construct killed him. He was a good man.
Nox
He who got pushed
Nox started out great. That little feather ball can be pretty accurate with that crossbow. And dealt a ton of damage to the Creature. I allowed Nox to get on my back and I flew us up to the creature and then Nox got pushed from my back. The drop must have been about 150 feet, Nox died shortly after. To the sadness of my heart, I couldn’t save Nox in time.
Bragg
He who turned zombie
This fight was a bit more tricky, but having two fighting oafs, however intellectually challenged, helps with brute force. This went on for a while and things started to look very bleak indeed when I was stuck in the darkness with one of the oafs and the others had ran forward, splitting off from the group and seemingly fighting on his own. We hurried forwards, just in time to see the oaf turn into a terrifying zombie. Luckily, zombie Bragg did not seem to be on the same side as the demon, so as he tried to smash their head in, we made use of the situation to get the hells out of there
Lanthir
