Feshock

The feshok tree is particularly unusual in the world of Vaysoom. Seemingly native to all biomes, these tall, wide, ancient trees never seem to grow, age, or die. The shimmery bark is too dense for any known blade and barely leaves a mark when struck. Thankfully the lush canopy high above the ground does provide some much needed relief in places where vegetation or protection from Rueglah is scarce.

Basic Information

Anatomy

These trees stand thirty to fifty feet wide at the base and seem to stretch up at roughly the same width until somewhere in the canopy. No one has been able to climb high enough to reach even the lowest branches which often start no less that seventy-five feet above the ground. with the top of the canopy estimated, on average, to be from one to two hundred fifty feet from the base.

Genetics and Reproduction

Feshok groves never shrink nor grow in size. They seem to not even drop leaves or branches despite harsh weather at times. While underbrush and other vegetation to grow between the trees, they are unrelated species and are strangely grown. Almost as if the underbrush is cultivated. Even among this detritus, no seeds have ever been discovered, leaving these trees a mystery from top to bottom.
In some locations, it is believed by the locals that Wolvaren roost in the canopy tops, only to rise in the darkness.
