The Covenant of the Voyahdae (Voy-Ah-Day)

At the beginning of the War of Cataclysm, Alorahd came to the Voyahdae, the survivors and history keepers of the Lost Mists of Time and to the other survivors they protected and saved within their hidden Sanctuaries. Alorahd told them of their danger and gave them two choices. They could stay on Vaysoom and Alorahd would do what was possible to extend their survival as long as possible, but eventually the fiendish incursion would destroy everything. The other option was to let Alorahd take them all away to a new world in the multiverse where they could try to start over in the hopes that the fiends wouldn't find a way to discover their new home.

The Voyahdae responded to these choices with a third choice. Alorahd would try to bring help from among the multiverse while the Voyahdae continued to fight for their homes and their survival with everything they had to protect and defend the other survivors they had worked so hard to save. Alorahd saw their spirit and resolve and respected their choice to defend their homes and families against impossible odds.

Moved by their strength and honor, Alorahd made a pact with the Voyahdae, that as long as even one remained to stand true to the Strength of the Voyahdae, Alorahd would do everything possible to keep that soul and spirit alive to be passed on by adoption if not by blood. So that the Voyahdae would never pass from memory completely as long as Alorahd existed.

That, dear children, is why The Academy stands today. To remind us of our past and teach us the strength of Family, Education, and Defending one another like the Voyahdae whose Covenant saved us all.
