The World of Vaysoom

Vaysoom is a world of high fantasy and optional technologies. The people of Vaysoom are a diverse mix of races, colors, genders, and orientations to be determined by the Players and the Taleslinger. While the majority of the peoples are simply focused on day-to-day survival, there are those who brave the unknown in search of riches, glory, or even a new knowledge of the lost histories of the world. Much of the world is unexplored wilderness controlled by beings and powers with their own agendas and beliefs, whether benevolent, malevolent, or anything in between. Whether halfling commoner, tiefling barbarian, or any other possible combination of skills and traits, folk do their best to try and make their way through the world. Their experiences, environments, and deities all influence the beliefs and actions of them all, but not all conflicts are necessarily physical. It can be a harsh world, but it is the people who can bring light to the darker places and their cooperation that helps them survive. The world reacts to the choices of the characters and consequences may not always be immediate. While many races are present, so are many Powers, dark and light, with their own motivations and goals that some of the mortals may get caught between. Though in Vaysoom, Dark and Light may simply mean geographical location.
