Dreamer's Tea
Dreamer's Tea is a special beverage that some alchemist classifie as a potion, instead of a typical tea. That's because of its unique effect on mages when consumed. It is mainly used to induce a deeply relaxed feeling upon them before proceading with the Dusastryka ceremony.
Components
The main components of the beverage is of course the leaves from the Dagfar Flower, which give it both its taste and special effects. Excluding water, other components include milk, either from cows, goats or mutton as well as honey, which gives the tea a sweater taste than with just the leaves.
Effects
Both Soulbound Mages and Elemental Mages that have consume this beverage have reported feeling calmer and more relaxed, which is a known effect of the Dagfar flower leaves. It has also been reported that consuption of the tea or of the leaves themselves accelarates the healing abilities of both types of mages, though the effects are much more pronounced in Elemental Mages. However, despite these benefits, it is advised not to consume too much of it. That is because consuming to much of the dreamer's tea and especialy the leaves themselves can make the person fall into a lethargic state, where they are unable to move or do much of anything as the body seem to fall asleep. Depending on the quantity consumed, the effects may wear off after a few hours up to a few days.
Uses
This relaxing effect of the tea was first used to help people sleep, which is what gave it its name. Nowdays, it is also and more famously used to induce a meditative state of mind to Soulbound Mages, who participate in rituals such as the The Dusastryka ceremony. It is also used to help Elemental Mages recover from sickness. It is most effective if consumed before the peak of symptoms and combined with ample rest.
