The Fork
The Fork is the name of the peninsula that forms the easternmost region of the Arrosian mainland.
Geography
It is a rocky peninsula jutting out into the Eastern Ocean. The peninsula splits into 4 main sub-peninsula, each cut through by fjords on the north side. The waters on the north side of the peninsula are dotted with a huge number of rocky islands, with the largest one being the island of Hurkor. The main land is covered in forest while the island and coastal regions have little more than grass and shrubs.
Climate
Rainy, windy and cold. Rain comes from the south, north and west, particularly during spring and fall. From the south, large storms, feed by the hot waters of the Great Eastern Sea, pass over the peninsula, dumping huge amounts of rain and whipping the land with powerful winds.
Natural Resources
Large amounts of timber, iron and Lycen crystals can be found on and in the land here, while the waters around the peninsula have large fish stocks.
