Dragonblazers
The Dragonblazers were a group of adventurers in Lysandus that surfaced in 1A 5679. Their quests involved opposing the Knights of Black Dragon.
Assets
The party equipped themselves with many magical artifacts on their journey. This would include, on each person:
- Riley Woodhame carried Fatebender, the pact blade of Vivian. He also wore Mithril Chainmail, an Ioun Stone of Protection, a Cloak of Elven Kind, and a shortsword with the Flame Tongue enchantment.
- Slytoff Han wore a Cloak of Protection, and carried multiple spell scrolls on his person.
- Gilliam wore the Beads of the Zodiac, a powerful magic item from the goddess Calypso. He carried his items in the Bag of Holding. He also had a Immovable Rod on his person. He also carried a Rapier called Lifestealer.
- Tequila Cambow carried a Mace of Light as his primary weapon, as well as Gauntlets of Ogre Power, and a crystal ball.
- Wulfric wore Boots of the Winterlands, wore a Horned Helmet, and carried around the Horn of the Danen.
History
The party started their quest on May 10th of 5689, where they were hired to safely deliver a cake from the Lazy Loafer Bakery in Silver Town. The delivery was ambushed by their soon-to-be arch enemies: the Knights of Black Dragon. The party succeeded in their delivery and were then hired to ward off assassins from killing Lord Foswell's daughter, Joyce. The party spent the next few days tracking down the Knights of Black Dragon into the Urshlon Forests. They met a shady ranger named Seldwig, and Riley would partake in a pact with the Lady of the Lake, an eldritch being who offered him power. The party uncovered Urshlon Tower and tried to raid it, but were nearly killed by Qenlynn Millerstone and her minion, Sir Edward Wallington. The party would vanquish Edward and get their reward: gold, and tabards that declared them Heroes of the South Star.
The party continued toward Feller's Rock, where they cleared out a mine of kobolds and discovered a demonic ritual to turn people into Half-Dragons. They restored the Half-Dragon, Galafred, back to his normal self. They defeated a bard named Percival the Persuasive, a Danen bard who tried to control Lord Wickam. The party was rewarded a house for their efforts, and Slytoff became Lord Wickam's advisor.
The next part of the quest, the party came to Miweck, meeting Slytoff's parents, and met the Arch-Mage, Imin Aldir, to discuss the properties of Half-Dragon transformations. The transformation involved Soul Ash, which the mage college was running low on. The party thus delved into the Underdark to collect some more, fighting past drow forces, a Drider, and even defeating a Fomorian. The party raided the Fomorian's lair for goods. They would eventually meet a group of Drow villagers and sided with them to fight back Duergar. They dismantled a Duergar factory and collected Soul Ash from it, and thus returned to the surface.
The next quest had the party travelling down river to Kirkwall to meet with a dragon named Morgesk. Their river trip was interrupted by Black Dragons taking over a bridge, and the party was nearly killed by a ship of Danen Vikings. Eventually they would find Kirkwall under the control of Black Dragons and Danen, and snuck into the tower there to rescue a sorcerer named Hamill. They then escaped the dragon, Gorgoth, very narrowly. They would meet with Hilda Snowladen, travel up the Dragonscale Mountains (where they encountered some yetis and a hag). They then would meet with Morgesk, who tasked them to kill a two-headed dragon named Turot and clear the Temple of Duran-Vanu. The party obeyed, being attacked by monsters within the temple, and vanquished both Turot and liberated Kirkwall from Gorgoth. Riley also collected the Mirror Shield. This was finished by the 24th of May.
The party then travelled to Ebenwald and claimed their titles as Dragonlords from King Mortimer Darius on May 25th. They bought more magic items there, and would be attacked by assassins as they tried to sleep.
