Terra

Terra Terhaicdohtor was a Wood Elf ranger within the lands of Larian. In the year 1A 4282, she joined a group of adventurers in the town of Dert.

History

Early Life

Terra was born within the low forests of Diffon in the year 4177. Her mother was named Lila, and her father was named Terhaic. At an early age, they wandered as nomads within the many forests of Eiren, and thus Terra learned how to scout and survive on her own. She became trained with a bow and sword.
Sometime in the year 4260, the sons of Terhaic moved into the forests of Gaelitia on hunting trips. They were unknowingly caught in the middle of battles between the rival knights of Larian and Halfia. In this experience, Terhaic fought along side the Larian king, showing his skill with a bow. Though the war ended with a stalemate, King Gabriel rewarded Terhaic with riches and plunder. Thus the elf family became well-off for a while, and settled near the forests of the Vine River.
However, a great famine hit Larian in the days of 4270. Though the House of Terhaic was relatively well off, eventually the wealth and power dried out. War also re-entered the land, which caused the house to decide and return to Diffon with their prestige and prowess. But in the days of their movement, more battle struck the lands of Larian in 4276. The House of Terhaic was bombarded by Halfian soldiers. Terra fought off some of the soldiers, but to her eyes, a Knight of the Green came from the forests brandishing an axe and attacked the soldiers. The soldiers feared the knight's prowess. Thus they fled. Terhaic thanked the knight and asked for his name, but the knight left quickly, worried for some odd reason to say his name.
Yet Terra never forgot the knight. Day and night she tried to look for the rescuer, growing infatuated with him. Though Terhaic told his daughter to forget him, she refused to. As the family moved, Terra opted to stay behind, much to her father's dismay. "I will not return until I have found that knight," she told her father. Thus Terhaic, knowing her passion, let her remain in Larian as they returned to their ancestral homes of Diffon. Terra spent the next couple years in continuing her search.

The Crusade of Larian

In the August of the year 4282, Terra was running low on money and supplies, and thus enlisted her services to the Earl of Dunkoff to protect a cache of weapons on delivery to Dert. She was joined by a mischievous fairy named Thimbleswipe and a knight named Org. Together they fought off bandits and robbers in the forests surrounding Dert. Eventually, they fought a rival company called the Blackadders, led by a Dhampir named Abigail, who were trying to steal from a infantile copper dragon named Pennydrix. In the battle, Abigail was slain, but Terra and Org (revealed to be a Half-Orc) captured the remaining Blackadders, and had them arrested for assisting the bandits in the area.
