Session 3 - Witches, Pigs, and Wolves
General Summary
The adventurers departed from the town of Dert and travelled up the road north to the town of Dunkoff. During their three day journey, the moon became full, and Terra came across a bear, but it did not attack. When they finally arrived to the town of Dunkoff, a guard on the road told the party that a witch burning was about to commence. The adventurers then went into the town, and saw a young woman, named Amelie, tied up and being publicly accused of witch craft by the local earl, Luquin, and Father Armaud of the local cathedral. Their single witness was a man named Erard. Armaud had a book on witches, and declared Amelie a "devil worshipper" due to her magic absorbing the life force of some bandits she killed. They accused Amelie of causing people and cattle to disappear.
However, Sunjar, Org, Terra, and Thimbleswipe came to her defense. Thimbleswipe raided the local dungeon to get into the evidence locker. Org tried to convince (and failed) to get the Earl to release her. Terra tried to argue the problems of the loose accusations, but the people watched disliked her trying to ruin their entertainment. Evidently, it came to Sunjar telling a story of two women's vengeance and how it would only lead to further bloodshed. The story swayed the Earl, who spoke with Armaud. They agreed to let Amelie go, but only if they could prove her innocence and find the perpetrator.
Amelie was then unbound, and the crowd dispersed, disappointed how their entertainment was taken away. Org then went to question Erard. Erard was terrified, and admitted he only saw Amelie take their life force but did not know what kind of magic it was. After this, Org desired Erard to recompense the party. Erard was a swine herder, and said they could buy one of his pigs. Org then bought a pig, a young female, and he named her Jeffery. Then he took the pig to a tailor and got it a fine dress. They deemed her Lady Jeffery.
During Org's time of dressing up the pig, Thimbleswipe and Sunjar became interested in the local arena. They met a man named Jan, who signed them up, but needed stage name for themselves, and a sponsor. They deemed "Lady Jeffery of Orgenson" their sponsor. Thimbleswipe took the name "Hornetswatter", and Sunjar called himself "The Devoted". Thimbleswipe first fought a combatant named Baldric the Bold, and wiped the floor with him. Then, Sunjar was pitted against Thimbleswipe to enter the arena. It was a close match, with lots of throwing weapons and psi daggers, but ultimately Sunjar came on top. Org also joined, becoming "The Ancient Paladin" and won a jousting match against a character named Jan the Unready.
After they gained around 30 gold in earnings (and angered the arena master, since he learned their sponsor was a pig), they shopped for some potions. After a long day of travelling around town, they eventually met Alpais Proudbottom, a halfling dairy farmer woman. She got angry when Org made fun of her last name. However, Amelie calmed her down, and they asked to investigate the stables where her cows went missing. They uncovered the claw marks of the broken stables to be from a man, but hair like a wolf's. It was a strange sight to them; they knew not what sort of creature had done this thing. But the sun was going down, and they agreed to track the creatures by the morning. The night passed, and Thimbleswipe took watch on top of the buildings in Dunkoff, Amelie talked cheese making with the halfling woman, and Org got a bed for his "princess" pig.
The search continued in the morning. They gave Jeffery some of the hair from the creature, and Jeffery began to sniff for more. The pig tracked down a stream, and the players realized they were being followed by a pack of wolves. However, Sunjar intimidated the wolves to stay away. Then, the adventurers came to the entrance of a cavern, being guarded by some Dire Wolves. Terra cast the spells Speak with Animals and managed to persuade the Dire Wolves to leave the entrance to hunt a bear she saw the other day. The Dire Wolf guards left their post, and the adventurers entered.
Inside, the party was attacked by more wolves and dire wolves, but Sunjar bottlenecked the creatures and managed to tank a brunt of the damage from the wolves' biting attacks. However, during the fight, Org foolishly banged his shield to encourage Sunjar, and alerted further enemies in the cave to their presence. (This angered Thimbleswipe.) The wolves were defeated, but more Dire Wolves started to charge down the hallways. Thimbleswipe quickly threw down some tacks. As the wolves came charging, Amelie cast a necromantic spell of fear toward the Dire Wolves. They became frightened, and stopped charging. This way, Terra began unloading arrows at the creatures, and Sunjar and Org guarded the hallway's entrance, eventually finishing the wolves.
Then the party progressed forward. Amelie cast light on the cowbone keeping her hair together. She then cast detect magic to search for magical presence. The adventurers came into a room and saw the remains of human and cattlebones devoured. They determined that the ravenous wolves must have eaten them. Then they progressed to the next room. Amelie soon began to detect strange transmutation magic, and looked forward, seeing white, beady human eyes staring at her in the darkness. Terra tapped her shoulder.
"What is it?" Amelie asked, distracted by searching for the magic in the room.
Terra stared at the beasts before her in the dark, for she could see them. "There are two werewolves staring at you!"

The Tale of Delilah and Meena, by Sunjar
Let me tell you the tale of Delilah and Meena.
Delilah and Meena were once great friends. They did everything together. But then they both met someone else. Delilah wanted that someone to be their best friend, but they became Meena's best friend instead.
So, out of envy, Delilah killed that someone.
To her misfortune, Meena retaliated in anger by killing Delilah. Only to be killed by Delilah's other friends very soon after.
The message of the story is this: revenge will only ever breed more revenge.
But if I had the book with me, I could have recited it better.
