Noble Houses
Houses of Fenestein - The Four Swords
In Fenestein, the City of the Four Swords, there are four Knightly orders that have joint ownership of the city, the head of each order being the patriarch of the order.House of Mane - The First Sword of Loyalty
Loyalty as ferocious as a lion's maw, and glory as beautiful as a lion's mane.

House of Auberdine - The Second Sword of Justice
Justice without division, Justice without fear, Justice without boundaries.
Knights of the House of Auberdine are considered “black knights” in a sense that they are devoted to ideas of vengeance. They take the law into their own hands, disloyal to the crown, believing their sense of justice is far more efficient than that of the crown. They are feared by the good and evil alike in the lands.
The current head of House Auburdine is a knight named Morris le Noir. He is a bit of a wildcard, often found to be a troublemaker against the law as he tried to enact justice within the city of Fenestein on his own, to the king’s annoyance. They are constant rivals to House Mane.
House Auberdine welcomes women into their ranks, believing they are the ones most worthy of enacting vengeful justice within the world.

Order of the Templars
There are Templar Knights, which are knights of a religious sort and follow the head of their temples. Often they follow the call to fight or the call to war when the High Priest of their religion orders it so, but also act on their own volition as adventurers. Often these are called Paladins by the common folk. Some officials of the lands of Goth find these Templars to be a danger to the secular governments, and so they often pay and appease these orders to ensure their safety. In Gotha, there are two distinct types of these Templars. The Crusaders are holy knights who are devoted to the gods and goes to war for them in zealotry and fervor. They are the most common of the paladins. The Hospitaller is a holy knight devoted to their god but works on humanitarian efforts, such as healing the sick and wounded. They are well liked by the people of Eiren because they prove more helpful and merciful.Crusader Orders

Knights of St. Penneret - Devotion
These are a group of crusaders devoted to Cardia to protect the lands of Gotha and preserve what is good and righteous in the world. They believe that love, courage, and righteousness are the true weapons of a holy warrior. Often they swear oaths of Devotion to uphold the greatest of virtues within the lands of Eiren.Knights of St. Rashida - Glory
An estranged group of Paladins, these templars follow an old fey named Vivian, the Lady of the Lake. They are devoted to feats of heroism to keep their lands protected. Fate, they believe, is often in their hands and thus it is their job to lead history where they deem fit.Knights of St. Ascus - Conquest
They are a strange and looked down upon crusading branch devoted to several different war gods. The most common in the land of Goth would be Paladins of St. Ascus, who follow tenants of defending rightful land and a lust for conquest. The second most common are Paladins of the Dragon, feared Templars who either follow Bahamut or Tiamat. The followers of Bahamut try to defend the other races of Eiren, but those loyal to Tiamat prove most foul and try to destroy the settlements of humans.Hospitaller Orders

Knights of St. Alesia - Redemption
These knights are a group of extremist hospitallers who believe that violence itself should be the last resort. They staunchly follow Cardia. They believe that anyone is capable of redemption, even the vilest evils of the world, and should be given the opportunity before ever taking up the sword. They are not pacifists, however.Long ago, the Four Houses of Mane, Auberdine, Anbleu, and Monnorie joined together to form the great city of Fenestein. Now, their orders persist as beacons of chivalry across the lands of Gotha.
