Arroyo

Arroyo is village founded by the original Vault Dweller, Albert Cole, in 2162 as well as the home of The Chosen One, Teshi, and the forgotten hometown of Courier Six, Elizabeth Alto.  
After Teshi returns to Arroyo with the G.E.C.K from the Enclave Oil Rig, the village is successfully terraformed allowing for a population surge.  Shortly afterwards, the town is absorbed into the New California Republic and transformed into something more akin to a Pre-War city rather than a large tribal hamlet.
Much to Teshi's concern, the tribal traditions of his people are soon forgotten in the face of NCR's expansion and modernity, to the point where his own granddaughter, Elizabeth Alto, has little knowledge of the former tribe's traditions and customs.

Demographics

Most of the residents of Arroyo are Post-War Humans.

Government

Arroyo was originally a tribal village under the rule of the tribal Elders.  Since its absorption into the New California Republic, it has an elected Mayor.
