Crata

Crata is a lizard with a rock like scales that help protect it from harm. It can also aid in disguising them if they felt the need to lay down out in the open. Crata's are terrtorial creatures that tend to live in dry areas. They will tend to roam the land they consider their territory attacking creatures it deams hostile. The longer a crata lives the bigger it gets. Some have even be known to become the size of a small house or a train car. These older ones tend to want to be left alone and can be a less hostile than their younger counterparts as they reached a size and Age where most things aren't even a normal threat to it. Though they will attack if they feel a need to fill their belly.

Crata, sometimes known as a rock lizard. Is a very common creature found in parts of the southern and western Edge. These creatures can form large colonies when young and can pose danger to the ecosystem if left unchecked. Back in the day they had common preadators which aided in keeping their population down letting only a few of a brood to grow up into their more dangerous form. Sadly as civilization crept more in, these creatures rivals were either pushed out or hunted. With their ability to hide in caves and pretend to be rocks, they were able to adapt to the changes that civilization brought to the region. Conservation Status

They are rather common that most have no plans to go out of their way to protect them. Some even see them as a treat as they can cause harm to travelers and can sometime attack livestock.
