Guar Huts

Guar Huts are the huts that the Guar (Protectors of the Sacred) use at sacred sites. They are simple huts built by the owner of the said hut. Everything within is what is personal to the owner. It is typical for the Guar to place symbols on their huts to represent the accomplishments. When a guar die they are burned inside their hut so that all that is theirs may journey with them.

The Guar hut is a representation of the things they accomplished in life. It is a home and a resting place. A place they lay their heads and where their souls may rest. Where all that they were is shown and where those who mourn may find who they truly were. When a guar past into the other side they take with them the memory of these things for the material must fade for something new to bloom.

Purpose / Function

It is a place built of for the Guar to live in as they stand to watch over a sacred place. It is a place the Guar anoint with their memories and triumphs. It is the place that their sacrifice will be remembered for a moment before it is burned for something new to bloom.

Architecture

It is a simple hut that is adorned with what represents that person. Over time they will adorn it with their conquest. Placing the skulls or bones of might beast to adorn the outside wall of their hut. While placing the things they keep to their heart inside.

History

These huts were built by the guar as they took up their duty of the sacred lands. The Guar would eventually begin to adorn their huts after hunting strong game. During the wars, the guar would bring back trophies from their enemies to adorn their huts.
