Prompt 17: The Forest of Gaian

There is a tale told of a living forest. A place where the plants are alive like any beast that roams the land. Where nature has twisted from an abundance of the essence. This is where a new breed of zidian is said to call home. One infused by the very heart of nature. Where primal magic and elemental magic become one. This sacred forest is said to be deep underground where if you dig to deep you will find this forest that has over taken the legacy of the Lazari.
No one knows how to get there or if it is real. What is known is that it is believed to be near somewhere in Devil's snag. While many old ruins have been found none has been the resting place of the Forest of Gaian - Ace Cardia

Summary

The Forest of Gaian is said to be where hybrids of plants and animals were created. Creatures so intuned with nature that everything bends to their will. It is said to have been one of the many labs of the great builder where she sought to create something special. A way to fix the damages of the countless wars the other Lazari warred. A means to restore nature where it has been corrupted.

Historical Basis

During the fall of the Ancients, it was said that Talion and Zavian traveled to a lab that housed the seed of Gaian. That they freed it and planted it somewhere safe as a means to safeguard the world if the worse would happen. Here an abundance of natural essence will be birthed into the world to deal with the decay that the Lady of the Fallen commanded.
When the war was over, they never told where the seed was planted. Only that it would be found by one of their blood if the great decay was to occur again.
It would be the second decedent war where the next time the seed would come up. This time a mightly forest that lived deep underground. It is said that one of the Kalnatu found it while on a pilgrimage. There they are said to have found the forest full of living plants that lived like the beast of any forest. That at the heart of the forest was a great tree that housed a great and mightly nature spirit.
He would spread the tale to the Kalnatu who would take up the goal of making sure that the forest was never found. Letting it's location be lost and dealing with anyone who would dare try to find it.
