Prompt 24: Hilda the Crusher

Hilda is one of the largest ice crushers in all the frozen waste. Believed to be the mother of all the ice crushers near the city of Salire. This fearsome beast is the largest Ice Crusher to ever be known. Capable of biting through solid steel with her massive teeth. Anyone who is foolish to face her is destined for death. Luckily she is docile only focused on carving chasms and protecting her young.
While she stays far from the city she has been a problem for some of the mining outposts. Some of these outpost being wiped out as she moved right through them or simply wake up to realize the mine they were working on had a large chunk bitten through it.
Those with the stomach for it could just wait till she relieves her self to get access to the ore they once mined, but most aren't that desperate.
