Prompt 27: Dog Sled Racing

One of the favorite sports in all of Salire is the Dog Sled Race. A race of man vs nature with only their best friends able to have their back. This race is held a couple times a year where people of all creeds can compete for a chance at trophies and money. Even someone from the slums has a chance to make a name for themselves.
The races tend to take the racers through the frozen wastes to a few of the mining outposts that act as checkpoints and rest stops. No one is allowed to harm each other as their is already the dangers that lie out in the frozen waste to deal with.
