Prompt 7: The Heart of the spirits

The Heart of the spirits is jeweled necklace gifted to the humans of salire as a representation of the alliance with the presari. It is both a sacred gift and a symbol of the political connections between the two groups. The heart is given to the shrine maiden the only member of salire to be allowed to commune with all four spirits.
The jewel is normally stored safely unless their is a need for the maiden to make a public appearance. Mainly for meetings with the presari delegates or for special ceremonies. If the necklace was to ever be stolen it could put the council of nobles in serious trouble.
Many have tried to steal it only to be met with grizzely end. So far no one has even come close to making out with it as it is more protected than the nobles themselves.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

It is made from the sap of the holy tree that can be found in the holy city of the presari. This gives it magical properties that allow it to reach to the essence that flows through diffrent indviduals.

Significance

It represents the bond between the presari and the humans of Salire. It is also important as it can help find a new maiden if she dies.
