Prompt 9: Salirik Ore

Salarik ore is a unique ore said to have been blessed by the guardian spirits of Salire. This ore takes on four different colors represents the elemental power of the guardians. No one know if their any magical aspect to it as mostly its been used as a symbol of beauty and status. Some of the nobles building statues from this unique ore.
Many of the gangs of Salire seek out this ore the same way the nobles do. Though as the Nobles hold control over most of it, this has caused the gangs to fight over what little they can get their hands on.

Material Characteristics

It is a unique ore that has the colors of red, blue, green and yellow in a nice collage. Smooth to the touch and glows when the light hits it right.

It is a cool surface, but can retain heat or cold rather well.

Geology & Geography

The Ore is found near the shrines of the guardian spirits of Salire. No one knows how this ore appears, but many believe it is created by the spirits.

History & Usage

Discovery

It was discovered by a young noble who was slacking off from his duties. He brought it to his friends and they saw how unique it looked. Many of the other nobles began searching for the ore and even started trying to make statues of themselves or those they loved.

It is a luxury item that sometimes finds its way on the black market, probably from a noble trying to earn some off the books money.
