Remnants

Remnants are a dangerous beast that have issues with civilization and it's need to encroach on their territory. This has lead to some of these creatures to attack travelers who dare to go through their territory. -The Story Teller.
    Remnants are a monstrous species capable of tearing any human foolish enough to get to close limb from limb. These creatures can be found in pack in different spots around the frozen lands. These apelike creatures are known to trick travelers in order to feast upon them as food. No one has ever documented the behavior of the species as most fear for death from these creatures.   The Frodin on the other hand will say these creatures are sacred beast that act as protectors of sacred shrines. Though most feel the Frodin don't know what they are talking about when it comes to these creatures. Though most travelers will rather take their chance traveling with a Frodin than any other group that calls the Frozen Lands Home

Basic Information

Anatomy

A large ape like creature that is rather strong and built to survive the cold temperatures of the frozen lands. Said to have sharp claws made to rip into flesh.

Genetics and Reproduction

So far not much is known about their reproduction cycles. Though it is belived they must have some similarites to other mammals.

Ecology and Habitats

They can be found in different spots of the frozen lands. Not much is known, but it seems they go out of their way to set up packs far from civilization. The frodin say they live near shrines, but no one has discovered a shrine near where one of these creatures call home.

Dietary Needs and Habits

It is belived to eat meat and explains why the creature attacks travelers.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

It is believed to have enhance hearing and sense of smell. Capable of tracking prey for rather long distances.
