The Battle of Trenyor

Trenyor was a fort set up by the empire to use as a staging area to aid the war efforts. It was established by contingency of presari soldiers and was backed by human engineers and healers. The plan was to use the fort as a means to repair equipment and heal up any one who was injured. For awhile the fort operated like this. Sadly it was only a month before the beast clans lead an assualt on the fort.
They attacked after most of the military force was sent out to support another battle. This left a small group of soldiers with the humans. Captain Furik was left in charge of the fort and took command of what forces they had to do battle with the approaching beast clans. Knowing that they had access to some recent equipment fresh from the factories of salire, he order the new cannons to be set up asap. His men would meat the enemies on the battlefield and buy time for the canons to be prepared.
Using all his skill as a captain he was able to guide his men to do the most damage to the beast clans. Though not without some causalties. Once a flare was shot he began to order the retreat. Getting his best water and wind users to work together to create a mist that would cover the battlefield. This gave them their chance to move away from the battle before the first canon was fired.
Once back in the fort he took charge of the canon fired and set up a pattern to keep the beast clans from getting to close. With a combination of the set up canons and his soldiers magic they were able to hold of the fort till the first sign of reinforcements showed up. Captain  Furik would then lead an assualt to tear through the beast clans and eliminate their leader.
