The Caslan is said to be a cursed artifact that brings out one's inner beast. A Totem created by the Deminor that was used to channel their power. A power that many desire in order to have control of everything they can gain from it. -The Story Teller

The Caslan is an artifact that looks like a man becoming a beast mid transformation. It is an Artifact said to be created by the Deminor as a symbol of their terrible power. Seen as something truly monstrous this artifact represents the beast that flows from within the Deminor people.
The Caslan is currently held by a well off man who has spent everything to get a hold of the Artifact for himself. A man fascinated with the concept of the inner beast and the beast blooded.

History

The Caslan was first discovered in an old deminor fort that was raided after the Deminor were pushed out. A human who was stationed found it and stole it to sell off to someone in the city of Salire. The man was able to get back to the city but was hounded by nightmares of becoming a beast.
When he finally sold the artifact he was finally free of the dreams for a time. Though he would later lose it and attack an individual which would lead to his death. Those in power fared better as they had far more knowledge in dealing with trouble some artifacts, Making sure never to touch it with their bare skin. Passing from one person to the next till they ended up in the hands of the current owner.

Significance

A valuable artifact amongst people with money. And a totem of channeling to the Deminor.
