The lineage of the Maulin

The maulin believe that the goddess Bast is their mother. That the greatest of maulin warriors can trace their lineage to her. It is believed that they once lived on a paradise that was gifted to her children and they lived there mostly in peace. Though when they grew hostile with each other the goddess punished them by allowing them to become the slaves of the ancient ones. Though after the fall it is believed that the goddess allowed this so they can strike at these false beings when they leased expected.
