The Monument to the Great Forge

A monument to progress and a symbol of the great failure their desire for progress represents. Back during the age of the volzian it might have been a symbol of hope. Now it's a symbol of the greed of a race who used technology and way to gain power.

The Monument to the Great Forge is a statue found near the center of the Jentmil Ig. It is a monument discovered by the first investigation team that is belived to honor the great forge. Based on previous knowledge it is belived to be reveared by the volzians as a symbol of their progress.
Based on the notes from the last volzian the monument is the first stop on the seekers journey to finding the key to the great forge. While a second expidition was sent to investigate it was met with an ill fate when coming in contact with the Slor Akeredronge.

Purpose / Function

A monument to the great forge a symbol of progress to the volzians. Thanks to the notes of the last surviving volzian it is also likely to have a note or clue to finding the key to the great forge.

Architecture

A large stone statue carved to look like the great forge of the volzians. Even having an anvil in front that could be used to aid in the process of crafting tools. While no one knows if this is the true form of the forge or a representation of the device that forged an army.

History

Built before the fall of the Volzian people as a symbol of progress. It is belived that after the fall the last Volzian may have left a clue to finding the key to the great forge.
When the first expidition discovered it they has no idea of the clue and had not found any such thing. Sadly the second, third and fourth, expidition failed to get near the monument.
