The Rail Guards
The Rail Guards are the protectors of the trade routes of the western lands. Established by mercenaries who have partnered with the merchant guild. Their purpose make sure nothing harms the rails or trains that are key to trade across the western lands. They can also be hired out to protect goods that travel along the rails or any other trade route key to the mercantile guild.
The Rail Guards make sure no one causes harm to trade in the western lands. Not hesitating to deal with any threat that would cause harm to the flow of goods. They aren't a police force and while they will protect passengers, that's not what they're paid for. They are the tools of the mercantile guild. While they can be trusted mor ethan other mercenaries, they only truly answer to coin and a code to not make the Rail Guards look bad. - Gabriel ValierThe Rail Guards have a number of squads who fall under diffrent types of orders based on certain tasks. Some may be the regulars who protect the rails and may be stationed on trains or at train stations. Some are uniquely brought in to protect highly valuable goods from threats. Their are even a few squads that go out and deal with growing bandit or wild animal threats. Though it is prefered to hire hunter's from the guild to deal with such problems.

They are equip with varying sets of armor based on their style of fighting and race. Humans tend to wear medium to light armor, while Fenrians and Maulins tend to have heavy to medium armor built for them. Many are given standard weapons with custom weapons as options if they are willing to pay for the forging themselves. They are also given acces to custom rail carts and cars to traverse the rails or protect goods that need extra protection.
