Theri Leather

Theri Leather is a type of leather able to have its durability increased through the absorption of essence. This makes it very useful among hunters only needing to carry around an essence pearl to increase its durability. In the hand of a deminor or a presari these clothes can protect them from most things as long as they still have the essence to pump out.

History & Usage

History

Theri leather was created rather early in the age of the ancient ones. A material earned by killing one of the Theriza. The ancients use to send their warriors to fight one of the Theriza as a means to prove themselves. If they succeded to kill it they would have the right to create what they can from the creature. If they failed they will simply become food for the creature. Those who survived for a long time may get some honor, but only if they prove themselves skilled.   These rituals have maintained to this day as many beast clans and presari see earning Theri leather as a rite of passage. Though humans have found it far easier to just kill the creature for the potential profit they can gain and as a means to get access to the zidsan trees.
