Thethian

The Thethian race are humanoid creatures appearing similar to different sea creatures. The Thethian can live both on land and sea though can't live beyond 48 hours without hydrating their skin. They prefer the salt water of the sea, but can survive in fresh water for a time. They currently control most of the sea though they are based in the southern island between the western lands and the eastern lands.

History

The Thethian were once many different clans based on the sea creatures they are based on. They became one group with the first founding of the armada. It was some time after this that the western lands came in contact with them. This has allowed trade for some of the fish and resources they can gather up from the sea. So far no one has gone to war with them as they of complete command of the sea.
