Reinadorn Chariots

Rumors of the Reinadorn Chariots are spoken in whispers around lone fires, and among the marching war-bands. Where people still fear the wrath of the gods there flows the stories of the Iconoclast Chariots forged by the Elves, a tool of killing unheard of before. Elves, more barbaric than those that they were ridding the lands of, came ushering a new age of terror.   Religious symbology are nailed to the sides of the chariots, and the beasts which draw them are carefully chosen to match the sacred animals of those that they fight against. This allows for an immunity on the fields, for few would dare to raise a weapon against their divines. With faltering lines, these chariots plow though droves of peasants, tearing though the wavering front lines. In their wake the rest of the infantry follows, and from almost every chariot a single elite soldier jumps into the fray.

Propulsion

The Chariots are drawn by whatever animal is the closest to their enemies gods. Some animals are more frequently used than others, and have a far greater span of influence.   Lions
Golden Lions.
Lions bearing the Mark of Ùros.
Two Headed Lions of Karamon.
  Oxen
Oxen stolen from local temples
Oxen wearing gold embroidery between their horns.
Oxen trained to bite and consume their own kind.
  Horses
Pure white, or pure black horses.
Miniature or Giant horses   If a sacred animal is unable to be used, it's most distinctive feature is used. Many horses wear armor covered with the feathers of large birds, or with horns similar to a unicorns upon their heads. Others have the trunks of the elephants, or replicas, forged onto the chariots themselves, allowing for a spearing tactic.

Armor and defense

Silver spikes along the sides and the wheels hold allowing for the charriot to easily ride through large groups, and forces the enemies onto the ground.

Additional & auxiliary systems

Large mast like additions are placed on chariots without additional riders, allowing for a captured enemy to be witness to the fall of their people.

It is interesting to see elves portrayed as almost a mad maxian group of barbarians with this vehicle. I can definitely see how gruesome it would be in the battle field. I wonder, how active are the gods in the world? If they are fairly active would they reach out to their followers to give them permission to fight back or help them to a solution against this vehicle?   The only suggestion I have is in relation to the formatting. If you make sure there is a little space in between the body and headings, it may help make it a little easier to read. Overall nice article!!!

Thank you for the like and comment, and for pointing out the spacing! Now that I'm looking at it, I think you're right about the spacing!   The gods are generally fickle, and most have a distant approach to their followers, so I feel that many would try to circumnavigate the laws of their god. I believe that the gods would only actively intervene if there was a direct threat to a holy site or if a relic was in danger. I think that the gods would be divided by their domains, and whether or not they desire a personal relationship to their followers. Those more associated with civilizations might send oracles to aid with the problem, while the more bestial would have physical signs or perhaps send larger variants of the animals to be used against them. Again, thanks for the question!

Of course! Hope it helps. I really dig the article.   That makes sense with the deities, especially if they play a more indirect role with their followers.
