The Cult of Rebirth

No one truly knows how long the cult of rebirth has been active in these lands. Many believe that they were hidden long before the cataclysm, and others believe that their evil directly caused the cataclysm and the Civil War. What is known with certainty is that the Cult continues to this day. Revolving around a belief that the gods are unworthy, and the afterlife is a trap, those which follow this cult see death as something that must be avoided at every cost. These people are a secretive cult, with only a handful of bloodlines which have benefited from their strange teachings. Despite Necromancy being illegal in this current age, the Cult of Rebirth is constantly growing, and spreading it's corruption. Those who have been drawn in through deception are given their own reward. Their bodies are used to maintain the lives of the elite, drained for what feels like an eternity before being disgarded.
Remote, often forested areas have small shacks, wherein teh Cult performs its rituals. Comprised mostly of humans, they preserve the original bodies of the few in large ceremonial jars. The bodies of the few have slowly been severed to only have the five key organs, needed for the unholy rituals to prolong their lives. The Brain, the Heart, the Lungs, the Stomach, and the Intestines are kept within their own specific jar, which is interconnected with carefully engraved runes to the others. A plethra of willing sacrifices are needed, for their blood must be used to run along the runes, thier very essense keeping them alive.
It is an oddity, how many people come to join the cult. Many of them are victims of the cult, who turn from their gods when they hear the descriptions of the afterlife from these undying monstrosities. Their minds, having been warped by passionate lies, draws them in to seek truth. Others are the desolate, the lonely, and those who cannot find any other family to call their own. Others, such as Arasha, are so cursed by the gods and men that they are innately drawn to this evil.
