Horned Society

Conflicting reports placed the Society’s members as either worshipers of Nerull or devotees of deviltry, with roots possibly going back thousands of years. Certain old druids speak of the dreaded “Horned Ones,” cultists who stalked the night in ancient times and preyed upon the Flan tribes. In any case, the Horned Society came to prominence in 513 CY, eight years after the disappearance of Iuz. The Society seized control of the city of Molag and the surrounding lands, humanoids flocking to its dark banner. The Horned Society’s inner council was made up of thirteen leaders, called Hierarchs. In 583 CY, thirteen years after Iuz’s reappearance, demonic forces sent by Iuz destroyed the Horned Society and conquered their lands. Rumours persist that the Horned Society survives in the present day and has metamorphosed from a group centralised within a single nation to one with its secret tendrils buried across the Flanaess, becoming much more dangerous.
