Pygmy Hydra
As the name suggests the Pygmy Hydra are small three headed dragonoids. They are partially demesticated and beloved around Cidoria. Many people have a Pygmy Hydra of their own and appreciate their companionship in thier lives.
Behavior
When in the wild Pygmy hydras will ofen hunt in small coalitions with close relatives like siblings. These groups will often share their food and defend each other. When Hunting in these groups the individual Pygmy Hydras will attempt to stealthly suround their prey. When they're in position they will use their breath weapon to immobalize their pray. They will spit a green sticky substance that will harden their target. After this the Hydras will attack their pray killing it and start consuming the flesh. As pets Pygmy Hydras will often consider their owners and fellow pets as part of their coalitions. Because of this they can do may things with little training. They're even bread to do specific tasks better and to have all sorts of colors. Certain breeds are better at hunting, defending things, guarding, or can even be bread with useless substances that can't even harden.Breeds
Common breeds for Pygmy Hydras are: Western Breeds- Eldosian Sharp Tooth - Named for their extra sharp teeth, these hydras where made to be bigger and stronger to be better hunters - 10 - 12 inch long | 10 - 13 inch tall
- Urgorkian Back Spine - Named for their large back spines, these hydras are perhaps the oldest breeds and are very similar to the Eldosian Sharp Tooth - 9 - 14 inch long | 12 - 14 inch tall
- Belvonian - Named for where they where first breed, these hydras where made to be harmless family pets and wonderful with children - 9 - 11 inch long | 7 - 10 inch tall
