Termoyl is a collective bundle of programmable nano-particles. They are used in tandem with the study of
Tagon, and are used primarily as functions to perform a specific task, orchestrated by either a machine or mind.
Properties of Termoyl
The Properties of Termoyl include their behavior towards the user, the environment, and each other. Termoyl are capable of moving in three dimensions, and theoretically through the fourth dimension, or time. Additionally, they are assigned a state of either
one or
zero. A Termoyl Cell with
state of zero will
no longer be active, while a Termoyl Cell with a
state of one will
be active, and thus controllable. Through these states, each one is defined via their energy flow. If a Termoyl Cell has no energy, it will be deactivated. Advanced Tagon mages are capable of interchanging these constantly to perform more complex tasks.
Electromagnetic Pulses and Termoyl Cells
Electromagnetic Pulses (E.M.P.s) are capable of activating and deactivating cells, depending on how they are used and what the situation calls for. For starters, E.M.P.s are capable of destroying most, and deactivating other Termoyl cells in a given situation, including one's own. Any external Termoyl will be removed from the environment, and as such, the user must come up with new ways of obtaining more Cells. However, if there are any surviving, deactivated cells in an area, or if the cells were already deactivated beforehand, an identical E.M.P. has a chance to reactivate those cells, allowing the user to revive their dead cells for further use.
Where Termoyl is Found
Termoyl Cells make their mark in
organic life, as they exist in all living things native to Ciphrus. As such, Termoyl cells are most found in places with lots of vegetation and wildlife, such as
forests, oceans, and
grasslands. They will be least populated in cities, deserts, mountains, or colder tundras.
Tenacity, Strength, and Forms
Termoyl is capable of performing tasks thought impossible to the normalcy of organic limitations. Termoyl is capable of reproducing the tensile strength of carbon nanotubes, the flexibility of aluminum, and the cushioning of ballistic gel, as well as many other forms in between. Termoyl has also been observed being used similar to webbing or adhesive. Even more otherworldly, Tagon has been described as being capable of solid, liquid, gaseous, and plasma forms.
