Bonebark Mold

Only grows on dead trees. Takes on a hue red to black. Is quite beautiful and surprisingly strong, it will hold up and support the tree it grows on long after it has completely consumed it. You can find some forested areas have an infestation of this stuff, be careful not to breathe it in, most are allergic to it in some form or fashion. Causes irritation and swelling of the airways.
