Brannaga

Brannaga are a snake-like creature that lives in the floes of Allant, but have an upper body of a human with a snake head. They are not recognized as sapient due to their lack of speech with the outside world, but are actually quite intelligent. They communicate among themselves via hissing, nonverbal cues, and telepathy. They are quite hostile to outsiders, as their young have been poached for centuries due to the fire-proof quality to their scales, as well as in some horrible cases, for slavery or for eating.
