Desiccation

  • When a vampire is deprived of blood for a long time, they begin the process of desiccation.
  • Their skin dryes up and begins to crack.
  • Other symptoms of dehydration, like their muscles beginning to ache. This pain will continue to escalate.
  • A desiccated vampire is still alive, but barely functional. As desiccation advanced, the vampire's systems begin to shut down, putting them into a deep sleep, from which they can only wake up by being fed enough blood. It's possible that a few drops will suffice for this, though.
