Terms

Terms are Concepts that will reappear in the plot or world as the story is told. The ones listed here don't neatly slot into any sub-category and so are described here.

First Summon

A First Summon was an Idea put forth early on in development. Effectively each Protagonist would have a team of Fighters they could "Summon". Summon was a nebulous term, we weren't sure if they would be like grail warriors and only copies of their original counterparts, or what. The only real condition was that summons would be inexplicably compelled to help their summoner. The first summon would be, The first Fighter that the protagonist summoned to help them, and would share the strongest bond with them and be there for most of their adventure.

As of writing this, the entire Summon concept has been pushed aside in favor of each Fighter acting independently in their own interests, Instead Choosing to help the Protagonists instead of being forced to.
However, the first summon concept remains, effectively being the first person the protag meets and befriends outside of their own group.

Fighter

A character who has a playable Mugen counterpart, or "Fighter".
