Adelaide Hills Wildlife Haven

Situated on the outskirts of Adelaide, near the lush, rolling landscapes of the Adelaide Hills, this rehabilitation centre offers a serene and natural setting for the recovery of injured and orphaned wildlife. Its location provides an ideal backdrop for the kind of hands-on, field-based learning that Jerome is passionate about, allowing him to be close to both the urban settings of Craigmore and the natural habitats of South Australian wildlife.   Adelaide Hills Wildlife Haven is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife. The centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including treatment rooms, recovery enclosures, and a range of habitats that mimic the animals' natural environments. It operates with a small but dedicated team of veterinarians, wildlife biologists, and volunteers who are deeply committed to wildlife conservation.   The centre specialises in a wide range of native species, from koalas and kangaroos to birds of prey and reptiles, providing Jerome with exposure to diverse aspects of wildlife care and conservation. It's also involved in community education, hosting workshops and presentations to raise awareness about wildlife preservation.
