My sister, Lucy, is 41 and works as a fashion designer in Sydney, and my brother, David, is 39 and works in finance in Melbourne. We're all close despite the distance between us, and we make sure to see each other whenever we can.
I got my start in the culinary industry at 18, working as a dishwasher in a local restaurant. From there, I worked my way up to prep cook, line cook, and eventually sous chef. I moved to Hobart when I was 25 to work at a fine dining restaurant, and that's where I really honed my skills as a chef.

In my free time, I love hiking and exploring the beautiful Tasmanian wilderness. I also have a bit of a quirky hobby - I collect vintage teapots from around the world. There's just something about the elegance and history behind them that fascinates me.
One quirk about me that some people find amusing is that I'm a bit of a neat freak. My kitchen is always spotless, and I have a system for everything. But I like to think it helps me be more organised and efficient in my work.
I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my cooking. I'm always striving to create the perfect dish, even if it means spending hours in the kitchen experimenting and tweaking my recipes.
